The Sahara Spa is our waterless grooming package and a favorite of cats everywhere. Designed to reduce shedding, remove loose fur and dead coat, and improve overall coat condition, it leaves your kitty looking softer, fluffier, and fresher than when we arrived.

Because no water is used, the Sahara Spa can be a good choice when a traditional bath is not ideal.

The Sahara Spa is not recommended for cats with heavy soil, grease, urine contamination, or significant coat buildup. In those situations, the Fontaine Spa's traditional water bath will provide better results.

The Sahara Spa is all about keeping things calm, comfortable, and low stress. Whether your kitty prefers gentle conversation, quiet grooming, or a little background music, we'll do our best to create an experience they can tolerate with dignity.

Waterless shampoo is exactly what it sounds like: a shampoo that cleans and refreshes the coat without the use of water. Applied directly to the fur and worked through the coat, it helps loosen dirt, absorb oils, and remove dead coat during the grooming process.

While it cannot provide the same deep cleaning power as a traditional water bath, it can be an excellent option for reducing shedding, improving coat condition, and freshening up your kitty between Fontaine Spas.

A little strategic trimming in all the right places helps keep your kitty cleaner, more comfortable, and easier to maintain between grooming appointments. It's not the reason most cats book a spa day, but it's often the reason their humans do. 

Fur covering the paw pads tends to collect all sorts of things during a cat's daily adventures. By keeping this area neatly trimmed, we're able to remove built-up coat and leave the paws looking tidy and well maintained.

Regular nail trims help keep your kitty comfortable and can reduce accidental scratches to people, furniture, and fellow household residents. Each claw is carefully trimmed to an appropriate length based on your cat's individual needs.

We gently clean the ears using a feline-safe botanical ear cleanser designed to remove wax, dirt, and debris while respecting the ear's natural balance. Clean ears are more comfortable, easier to monitor, and less likely to collect the buildup that can hide potential problems.

De-shedding is more than brushing. We work through the coat to remove loose fur and dead coat that are ready to come out, helping reduce shedding and leaving the coat lighter, fluffier, and easier to maintain.

Once the loose fur and dead coat have been removed, we carefully comb and brush the remaining coat to restore softness, volume, and fluff. The result is a coat that looks tidier, feels better, and is ready for important cat business.

A little moisture can go a long way. Our leave-in conditioning spray helps soften the coat, reduce static, and improve manageability while adding a light finishing touch to the grooming process. It's the final step that helps keep the coat feeling soft, fluffy, and touchably pleasant.
