The Fontaine Spa is the perfect choice for most cats and delivers the deepest clean, the fluffiest finish, and the longest-lasting results. Whether your kitty is greasy, dusty, shedding, or simply overdue for a spa day, this is the service we recommend most often.

Every Fontaine Spa includes a warm water bath, claw clipping, paw trim, ear cleaning, hand drying, brush and fluff, finishing spray, and our signature booty buzz.

Cats have opinions about everything, including spa days. We do our best to create a calm and comfortable experience tailored to your kitty's personality. Whether they prefer peace and quiet or a little background music, we want them to have the best day possible.

We gently clean the ears using a feline-safe botanical ear cleanser designed to remove wax, dirt, and debris while respecting the ear's natural balance.

We trim the fur on the bottom of  the paw pads to help reduce litter tracking, improve traction, and prevent debris from collecting where it doesn't belong. No more sliding like Tom Cruise across the kitchen.

We don't believe in one-and-done shampooing. Every Fontaine Spa includes three rounds of shampooing to thoroughly cleanse the coat, remove oils and buildup, and leave your kitty exceptionally clean, fresh, and fluffy.

This is also where specialty enhancement shampoos can be added. Whether your kitty needs a little extra help with shedding, sensitive skin, dandruff, or other coat concerns, enhancement shampoos can be incorporated into the bathing process alongside the three scrub-a-dubs.

Every Fontaine Spa includes a professional claw trim tailored to your cat's needs. Nails are carefully shortened to a comfortable length while preserving healthy nail structure.

Rubber claw caps can be added as an enhancement for households looking for additional protection for furniture, skin, and fabrics. Available in a variety of colors, they're both practical and surprisingly fashionable.

Freshly bathed cats are wet. Wet cats are generally unimpressed by this fact.

Before any drying begins, we remove as much water as possible using an impressive number of towels. The less water left in the coat, the less drying time required and the less time your kitty spends listening to the dryer.

We do use a hand-held high-velocity dryer when appropriate, but never cage dryers. The goal is a beautiful finish with the least amount of stress and coat damage. Clients may request that we skip the dryer altogether, but please understand your kitty's coat may still be damp when the appointment is complete.

No shortcuts, no rough handling, and no spinning your cat around like a car wash

Every inch of the coat is carefully combed and brushed to remove loose fur, dead coat, and tangles while restoring volume, softness, and shine. The result is a beautifully finished coat, less shedding, and fewer tumbleweeds of cat hair rolling across your floor.

Not every hero wears a cape.

Our signature Booty Buzz is a sanitary trim designed to help keep your kitty cleaner and more comfortable between appointments. By trimming the fur around the rear, we can help reduce unwanted hitchhikers, litter box souvenirs, and other messes that are better left unnamed.

It's not glamorous, but it may be one of the most appreciated services we provide.

A beautiful coat doesn't stop working the moment the appointment ends. We finish with a light finishing spray to help reduce static, repel dirt and dust, and keep the coat looking its best between appointments. A little goes a long way toward maintaining softness, shine, and fluff.
